Senior Security Engineer
Summary
Our client, a Series D SaaS company based in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in day-to-day cloud security operations and monitoring in order to provide protection and safeguarding of company and customer assets.
- Identify and report security vulnerabilities and exposure to engineering and business leadership.
- Develop mitigation plans.
- Using automation, build security controls and guardrails to improve the overall security posture.
- Evaluate and implement new security technology including firewalls, SIEMs, and vulnerability scanners.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of security engineering experience
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a similar field
- 2+ years of cloud experience with either AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong scripting skills
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (terraform, cloudformation, or something similar)
- Comfortable using the Linux command line
